Grampian Society for the Blind (Visit this link)

Founded in 1879 the Society works in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray and holds the register of blind and partially sighted people in these areas. It provides a domiciliary social work and rehabilitation service to 2,500 people with a visual impairment and aims to assist them to retain their independence by offering a range of support and independent living skills. The Society has a well equipped resource centre in Aberdeen and a smaller unit in Elgin. It also supports many clubs, self help and interest groups which meet throughout the area.
